Brought in at the last minute, being ordered to reshoot half the movie, taking the blame for the post-production team he had no control over (the rushed effects and the bad Superman upper lip CGI). Not to mention he somehow had to mesh his brand of humor with Snyder's brand of gloominess.

If you have the DVD, it comes with "Commentary the Musical" which is I think even better than the Dr. Horrible musical itself. :) Also the newscasters are Marti Noxon and David Fury who worked on Buffy.

Thanks for reacting to that. Dr. Horrible is one of my most favorite things. I’ve watched it sooo many times and I still tear up at the end.

Are we actually sure that's SMG? I thought it wasn't ever actually confirmed and seem to remember the Whedons kinda making fun of fans thinking it was her on the commentary. It absolutely does look like her in any case. I'm fairly sure Ron Glass is definitely not in it though. There are a bunch of Whedon-related writers with cameos though.

I was thinking of becoming a patron of yours then you post this and I'm like yup I have to now. Fun fact at least to me is that when this debuted it originally crashed the site it was on because they didn't expect that much traffic for it. Also Joss did this over the writers strike.
