now you've seen the shining...Dr Sleep! an excellent sequel which definitely does it's own thing but is a worthy addition. It serves as a sequel to both the book and film version, so you will see some differences. (Similar to how The watchmen series was faithful to the graphic novel ending rather than the film's.)
