Yes, Bad Times is a great movie with a shockingly starry cast for how little broad success it ultimately had. Great stuff, underrated as hell.

Having you along for the ride pointing things out helped a lot! Sorry about all the tech issues. Hopefully we can hear your thoughts from the missing outro in the next recap livestream

2026-01-15 06:06:57 +0000 UTCYou were really focused on Cailee Spaeny as Simone, so I will heavily recommend "Bad Times at the El Royale". It's a great movie in-and-of-itself, and she has a great role in it. It unfortunately wasn't a big success when released, but it was brilliant. One thing I'll point out regarding this film is that -- like with both previous films -- all of the clues really are on-screen from the beginning. The wolf head IS shown tied to the back of Wicks' robe before he dies, but we just don't NOTICE it. If you rewatch the scenes of his final sermon and walking into the little closet you can see it clearly if you look for it. Just like swapping the glass, grabing the gun, and grabbing the phone in "Glass Onion".
