Can't tell if Helena showing up at that restaurant is an attempt at an apology for using him, testing him on reintegration symptoms following his nosebleed, or actually stalking him like they claimed Cobel was doing but wasn't ๐Ÿ˜ญ I still think about your nature vs. nurture comment, and Helena growing up groomed to be in charge of this cult versus Helly growing up as a victim of said cult. Irving's date conversations about whether they can be judged separately. Gretchen and Dylan, Helly and Mark, Irving and Burt, I suppose they're all victims of Lumon, in work and outside just the same? ๐Ÿ˜”Thanks for the reactions! I subscribed specifically for these but I'll try and hang income willing, really love all the discussions โค๏ธ

That reaction to meeting Fields was shocking! It took me a second to realize that's exactly the reaction to expect from someone who, I'm totally assuming, hasn't watched Fringe ๐Ÿคฃ

It's absolutely assault because iMark could not consent and yet I think she's the most fascinating character on the show. It doesn't excuse her actions but she was born into a cult. I want her to escape. That we also see how cool she could have been if she grew up in a different environment (ie. me, Helly R) amplifies the empathy there, at least for me. I don't think she really understands why she's drawn to Mark and his genuine relationships, but she's clearly never had that and knows she wants it.

The Helena/Helly/Mark thing always grosses me out/infuriates me and makes me hate Helena even more. Like it is super complicated but I think one could more or less say that she R-worded both Mark and in a weird sense Helly? Like Mark not having the full information of knowing who he was actually sleeping with blurs the lines of him not *technically* consenting. UGH I hate her so much lol and it's such a complicated thing

I'm pretty sure those couches and stuff that Mark saw at work weren't actually there. I mean he was having visions anyway of his home, it's weird that you would think that detail was real ^^' I get it, it was flashing between the office and his home, with the couch staying constant, but still, no reason to assume those couches are actually there. I can't remember seeing those couches and stuff in the office at any other point anyway, it's not like they want them to relax there. And his home isn't set up at all like the office, considering the walls and stuff.
