Dude Edison's is way better than Chucky Cheeses. They have better arcade games, laser tag, bowling, and better pizza and you can still when a cheap prize! I suggest getting a marinara cup on the side to dip your pizza in, they have the best marinara I think I've ever had, and they only put so much on pizza where you don't get the flavor of it enough You could add extra on pizza, but from my experience it's better to dip it, that coming from someone who never dips pizza either.

Regarding Kate, after her last appearance in 'Epiphany', later in ep 2x18 (the episode where Lindsay ends up leaving Wolfram&Hart with his new evil hand), Angel gets info on the case by paying a detective on the force and the others chime in: Wes: "We're supposed to be the detectives." Gunn: "WE are supposed to have a friend on the force." Angel: "We did, but she got fired. Get over it." And thats the last we've heard of Kate.

Gunn does get some funny quips in this episode. And Wesley trying to break into that house has a bit of the dorky Angel S1 characterization of Wesley, which is a fun bit of continuity.

James Smith

That was one of NBC's "Really Big Shows"

Others have already explained the last time we actually saw Kate. It wasn't meant that way at the time, but I think in retrospect it actually serves as an appropriate farewell for the character. She had finally, honestly let go of the hate against Angel for the death of her father and she came to terms with the fact that the demon world exists. She also had her own moment of clarity/epiphany (just like Angel did) when she realized that some sort of higher power must have intervened to save her life. She was well positioned to go out and do...SOMETHING. Whether that 'something' is become a demon hunter like our group, or walk away completely and live a 'normal' life. Either could have worked. I do wish we did get some sort of follow-up, but it worked for what it was. And yes, we were all giggling as we saw you wonder about Darla right as she was returning.

Re: Angel and Cordy, I think the last few episodes they've tried to subtly turn the friendship a little more flirty. The training stuff, their big grins and happy moments with each other. So how we're feeling about it now is kind of an honest reflection of how Angel feels about it, surprised, trying to figure it out himself, etc. If it's feels a little out of the blue I suspect it's because it's supposed to

Preaching to the Horse's Mouth

Yeah, there's a good reason to feel like the Angel/Cordy thing is random, because... it kind of is. They have no real romantic/sexual chemistry, the brother/sister dynamic is already in place so it all feels vaguely incestuous, and even the actors seem surprised that this is suddenly where the writers are forcing them.

I am of the very small cadre of fans who might even enjoy Angel the series a little more than BtVS (at least depending on which random day you ask me on lol) and in this humble fan's opinion we are just starting to peak starting with this portion of S3. So take that and add it on to you're growing pile of hype ha ha. See you in the next one.

43:19 Darla, she's back. She's ready for a snack.

The last time we saw Kate was in the episode Epiphany (season 2, ep. 16). She had just gotten fired from her job, she called Angel and left a voicemail on his machine, and took a lot of pills. The last we see of her is at the end of the episode when she's talking with Angel. She seems like she's going to be alright, but she's not on the force anymore and we haven't seen her since. As far as Darla is concerned. Hmmm....I don't know. I guess we'd better be on the look-out.

Julie Benz is so good in this episode, her delivery is always so spot on! 👌 Holtz is mentioned briefly in season 2 during a flashback where Darla leaves Angelus in a burning barn. Then we see him properly for the first time at the start of season 3 in another flashback.

Rebecca

What happened with Kate isn’t really told but the actress got a starring role in Law & Order as assistant DA
