As bad as Otto is, I love how much of a sassy bitch he is in this episode lol. His reaction to Aegon and Cole is so iconic, and I personally think he already knows/suspects about Alicent and Cole (when they enter the council chamber together in the previous episode, he pointedly looks between the two of them suspiciously). We've actually briefly seen Madame Sylvie before in the first season: in episode 9, when Cole and Aemond are searching for Aegon, they stop by her brothel. It's revealed that Aegon took Aemond to Sylvie when he was 13 (IIRC) to lose his virginity. On top of the gross age difference, it's especially uncomfortable that he's now going to her for motherly affection. And it's clear why; this episode is stuffed with moments demonstrating the generational trauma of the Hightowers. They're constantly pulling away from each other, physically and emotionally, and it's pretty tragic to watch. If you're curious about the dragon that flew above Addam, I can tell you which one it was if you want, but if you'd rather not know, ignore the rest of this paragraph.........When I first watched I also wondered if it was Baela on Moondancer, but when I went back and looked closer, it's actually a riderless dragon. Based on its size and colouring, it's Seasmoke, the dragon of Laenor, Corlys and Rhaenys' son who left across the Narrow Sea. My heart breaks for Erryk and Arryk, and Cole can suck a dick for projecting so hard. He can't take accountability for his own mistakes, so he has to displace that guilt elsewhere in order to cope.
