Small note, Paul Wesley was born in New Jersey. The actor who plays Sam Kirk is Canadian though.

Not to beat a dead horse but the Paul Wesley Kirk… I’ve been giving him benefit of the doubt, and he’s Canadian just like Shatner, but… my wife and I just rewatched the Kelvin movies and Pine’s is great. I know you can’t get an A lister for a show but I’m thinking casting was a big fan of Vampire Diaries or whatever CW show he’s from and casted their crush instead of an actor fit for the part.

Spoiler below . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . There’s a musical episode coming. They made a cute poster for it but instead of handing them out in the panel or handing out tickets to get the poster later, they told everyone to go to their booth and get the poster. Bad idea #1. Sending 7500 people to one booth immediately after your panel. Bad idea #2 telling that horde of people that they have to go through your line and do the photo op with the captain’s chair to get one. (Which they did not say was the deal at the panel) Bad idea #3 not having your booth staff or the con floor staff prepared to receive 7500 people in descend on one location So anyway, I didn’t get a poster. :(

Haven’t gotten to watch the episode or listen to the pod yet cause I’m at SDCC but they said that they would be dropping the Lower Decks/SNW cross over episode at 4pm today. I got to see it early. It’s fantastic. I wonder if the guys know and if we’ll get another pod out of it so quickly. There was another announcement. Spoilers incoming.
