Release Commentary:
This was a long boi! A lot of the time we make complex assets or one type of asset, then look at them and wonder if folks won't be happy enough with just the asset on its own. So then we spend time to make variations of it, asking ourselves "what if they want something plain, or just this cool bit from this one asset". Hence even more time is spent providing variations.

Sometimes I do wonder what if we didn't do that? One color variation (maybe 1 colorable variation) and just the asset itself (you'll have to live with the strange marking on it) and just call it that. Would you still accept it? Or does the modularity make you happy? Quell or confirm our fears in the comments.

Or just download and enjoy. ;)

Something weird happened the first time I downloaded it. I didn't get all the files. I just tried it again and this time it worked. I love those ALIEN inspired signs!

looks amazing, cant wait to use all the pieces for things they are suppose to be used for :P

As someone who uses your assets professionally, I appreciate all the variations. You both certainly add a LOT of value to the price of $7 a month :) But I do understand the problem of 'over engineering' something. The time sunk into making one really awesome project can equal ten smaller projects, so I would be fine either way since I would still be getting the same value out of either. My honest opinion, most items and cosmetics really only need one 'customizable' rgb variant. It's the buildings and 'broken items' that I like having the most variants, as it is kind of weird to find an object destroyed in the same way twice on the same map XD I will also add that you both do rubble VERY WELL. There is one rubble asset that I can reuse and repose on the same map hundreds of times without it being too noticeable.

Yea, the wood variations is something I new we had to standardize as soon as I realized each of our packs had an entire new wood texture drawn for it. Would've made mix & matching furniture a nightmare. As I've been going back and updating the packs I've tried to make sure the wood furniture and stuff have the same variants available.

These are amazing! I'm so excited to use these in my Mothership & Alien RPGs!!!

I'm now trying to work out what a bunch of those even are! Nice hydroponics setup, too. As for variations, I'd probably be happy with one basic and one colourable. Some of the cool bits are so very cool, though! (And for some of the more historical packs, having a choice of e.g. woods is really handy.)
