Added 2021-10-13 23:30:01 +0000 UTCThe steering committee voted on a Lumpkinville story about Mary Ann's brother, after the Madeline comic is finished. This means the creation of new cast of female characters from that universe. So I'm turning some old brainstorms into character possibilities. I guess there may be more sketches along those lines in the future.

When you mentioned the name "Calypso" I found this in the local Google search thinking about gypsies and Egypt in general ... { (Gypsies) originated in the Punjab region of northern India as a nomadic people and entered Europe between the eighth and tenth centuries C.E. They were called "Gypsies" because Europeans mistakenly believed they came from Egypt. This minority is made up of distinct groups called "tribes" or "nations." ] and [ In Greek mythology, Calypso was a nymph who lived on the island of Ogygia, where, according to Homer's Odyssey, she detained Odysseus for seven years. } I'm thinking about this beautiful piece of work that you created hear... where she's wearing a little gold with it gleaming in the water... or maybe with some lilies really strikes a beautiful play on ideas... that's what made me think about it. but it still will be a lot of fun to see where you go with a new cast... Or just some really cool ideas... Keep up the great work, you are an inspiration to me and to everybody that enjoys your work.
