Patreon/iOS Changes

Hope you’re doing well. I just wanted to quickly jump on here to make you aware of some changes that will be implemented by Patreon.
Starting in November, Apple will be requiring Patreon to use their billing system for the Patreon iOS app. As a result, a percentage of YOUR money will go to Apple as opposed to the creators you support if you’ve pledged on the Patreon app on your Apple devices.
As a result, creators will need to increase their prices in order to compensate for Apple’s fees. The price increase WILL NOT affect you if you use Patreon on your browser/android devices.
Now, I don’t want to charge you extra for my content and I’m sure you don’t want to needlessly pay more money just because of a huge corporation’s desire to make themselves more rich, so please, please, PLEASE, if you are using the Patreon app on an Apple device, switch it over to the web version or an android device before November.
I appreciate you and your support so much and I do not want you to needlessly spend more money. Save it for ice cream.
