I am beyond excited to be watching this. As most of you know I'm currently streaming The Last of Us Part ll on Twitch at Twitch.tv/vkunia so I'm super familiar and fresh into TLOU universe, (so be sure to check it out!! hehe) as a result I'm going to be a harsh, analytical critic.... But I found absolutely no fault, only reasons to be impressed.
This show is likely EASILY going to become a favorite of mine and I cannot begin to explain how much I adored this episode. I hope you can tell my excitement shines through and can handle it LOL

This series surpassed every expectation I had. Can't wait to dive into your reaction! I've only discussed the show with people who haven't played the game so I can't wait to hear your opinions!

2023-01-17 23:07:55 +0000 UTCI'm not one that thinks adaptations, to be good, have to be exactly aligned/can't tell their own stories. But for faithful adaptations this is pretty much perfect so far and the changes like spending more time with Sarah at the start are smart. They seem to really understand the differences between a show and a game, where they can rely on you to care more about characters and empathize with them more easily because you are playing -as- them. In the game you -are- Joel, losing everything, but in the show they build it more.

Pedro Pascal is turning into our TV Sci Fi father figure lol, when this season ends, Mando season 3 is suppose to start up soon after :)
