Added 2022-07-01 11:49:33 +0000 UTCOH MY GOODNESS GUYS THIS SHOW IS SO GOOD SO FAR I LOVE IT. As soon as it begins you're immersed. The acting, the lighting/shots, writing, storytelling, foreshadowing... ugh its all great. I'm so excited about all of the episodes to come, I'm so glad I listened to you guys! I haven't watched any trailers or really had any spoilers (other than he's blind) but I'm so glad I went in not knowing anything either. I'm so hyped after the first episodes I'm worried the others won't live up to it as well but we'll have to see!! Thank you guys, and I hope you'll join me on my Daredevil expedition Have a great day everyone!!!

Unfortunately, seeing Season 3 without watching The Defenders can be a bit confusing, as is watching The Defenders without watching Season 1 of Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist. After The Defenders though there isn't really any story crossover between the shows, so you can watch just the ones you want without missing anything.

2022-07-06 19:43:24 +0000 UTCMy Marvel Television worship has paid off. Although, I would've recommended starting with AoS, but AoS is also way long so I can get not wanting to do it for reactions. I'd at least recommend watching it on your down time or something. It starts out really rough don't get me wrong, but once it gets past the events of Winter Soldier the show gets great and never really slows down from there (Aside from maybe Season 6 which is a little bleh). I'd also recommend doing Agent Carter eventually too. It's fairly short, only 18 episodes from both seasons combined, and it's really underrated.

2022-07-06 18:15:53 +0000 UTCI believe the "Sword sound for just a knife", the exaggerated rain noise, etc. are deliberate decisions because Daredevil Sees by Sound. Sometimes they hold our hands by taking a close-up shot with the amped-up sound, but other times it's just the sound alone. For me, it helps me remember not just to take in the story presented by the screen, but that presented by the soundscape too.
