I highly highly highly recommend I Origins (2014), but for the best experience I strongly recommend that you avoid any previews or background other than that it's a love story. And certainly don't watch more than a few seconds of the official preview.

Also, I think even if you remember a decent chunk if you were to watch it, it will help you give a more in-depth comparison when you watch the live action! And if they happen to strike gold like with One Piece we are in for a treat! The short episodes make it easy for you to knock out 2 or maybe 3 per video or slip them in in between other shows one at a time. (I know that only pertains to the watching, and not editing)

that show holds such a special place in people's hearts that wanting to watch the live action remake is actually a good reason to re-watch the original imo a lot of us are distrustful of the live action remake because we got betrayed so badly by the live action movie that already got made. It was beyond bad it was actually insulting to anyone who cares about the source material. In case that happens again, you'd be doing yourself (and your comment section) a lot of good by being familiar with the original show before watching the remake for example, on rotten tomatoes, the original show has a 100% rating and the movie has FIVE PERCENT (which, while ridiculously low, is actually being downright generous to that movie)

Well, being that it's been so long and you were so young, if you have any aspiration to watch it, I'd put it up to a vote, or maybe do a little test episode on youtube, react to the pilot and explain that you've seen it but a long time ago and give it the good ol' "like this video if you want me to continue regardless of having seen it" gambit and judge it off the response. I usually don't watch a reaction if they've seen it before, but I definitely make exceptions for certain shows and situations, I just don't want the reactor to be faking emotions, or already know all the spoilers and every scene. Infact I'm pretty sure a couple people I've watched it all the way through alongside were in the same situation, 'saw it years ago as a youngin', and basically only remember the plot and characters. I'd definitely watch it through with ya if you did! JS

I'm not sure she HAS a 'typical' audience... I'm pushing 60 and while I'm sure she has plenty of younger fans and patrons, her full audience is likely a very mixed bag from many to possibly all walks of life. BTW there is nothing on that partial list you wrote that I would say no to, even though I'm not familiar with everything on it (only half, really). At the end I read Unstoppable... Untraceable... and I immediately thought "Unbreakable" which leads to "Split" and "Glass" Vee, that's the ^^ Eastrail Trilogy. Dive in one day, please! McAvoy should have at least been nominated for an Oscar for Split.

I know u love romcoms so I would recommend 2 Indian romance movies Love Aaj Kal(2009) is a story about a couple who have to end their relationship because of their careers and the modern places they live. However, the story transcends through times if love can still exist in the modern-day just like in earlier days. The 2nd one is my favorite Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani (2013); this story focuses on 4 friends who r in their 20's who go on a trip, girl meets boy, hijinks happen but all the friends have to grow apart becz of their lives and the story begins 8 years later as they all r in their 30's for their friend wedding. This movie celebrates madness, warmth, marriage, freedom, friendships, reunions, & Love. Please watch these if u get the chance this month. Both movies r available on Amazon prime

I highly highly highly recommend I Origins (2014), but for the best experience I strongly recommend that you avoid any previews or background other than that it's a love story. And certainly don't watch more than a few seconds of the official preview.

The biggest deciding factor for most I'm assuming would be the capacity of how much you remember. As long as you're straightforward on how much you do, the rest will be fun and enjoyable. <3
