Here it is folks, page 1/3 of a short, sweet and smutty Sidlink comic that I've been teasing for months. After putting it off for so long I finally sat down for the last few days and told myself to finally get started on it. Initially it was supposed to be longer but I didn't want to overwhelm myself. I've never really made a comic before so just wanted to test the waters first. So far, figuring out the paneling is the hardest part.

YCH going up in a few hours (Wtf is a YCH? Read below)

A YCH ("your character here") is sort of a like a commission in which an artist creates a sketch of a generic character doing a pose, and buyers can purchase or (in this case) bid for their character to be in the final image doing said pose.

Unlike character suggestions, YCH guarantees your character being drawn as long as you win a bid, and original characters are allowed.

I'm trying out this system because:

- It gives people a chance for their favorite lesser-known character (or OC) to be drawn at a potentially lower price
- What you see is what you get; the pose is pre-defined
- You can make small changes if needed, sketch is subject to change
- Gives buyer more control than in character suggestions
- YCH's are super common in the furry fandom and seem to work well.

Since this is my first YCH I'm doing it exclusively for patrons at a very low starting price, but in the future I'll occasionally make them public and the price will likely increase. I have no idea what to expect since I've never tried this before >v>

Instructions on how to participate in a YCH will be detailed in the upcoming post.

Hey peeps, I'm finally ready to start drawing Patreon smut again o3o

Tomorrow at 12 EST I will be opening up character suggestions for gold and diamond tiers..with a new twist!
Previously patrons could suggest their character via a google form. The results were only visible to me and only I would pick from them to put on a poll.
However I want it to be more public so that people can see what's going on and have more say in it. Yay for transparency ovo

How's it gonna work? Tomorrow, I'll make a post announcing that character suggestions are open. In order to make a suggestion all you have to do is reply to my future post with a comment stating the character name and the series. Patrons are encouraged to "heart" whichever characters they like to increase that character's chances of ending up on the poll.

When I think there are enough submissions I will choose the 20 characters with the most likes and add them to the character poll. If there are any ties, they will be chosen randomly.

Oh yeah, I'm also completely revamping the rewards system so that it gives more power to patrons, but that'll be detailed in a separate post ovo)b

Feel free to share your opinions on this new system. Let's see how this works out!

(Almost) Back from Hiatus

Hey everyone, I'm back! Thank you for sticking with me despite my sudden leave.

Long story short, these past few months have been extremely hectic for me - right after I put my Patreon on hold, I had to move cross-country and also take some new jobs which - lets just say weren't good for my mental health. My anxiety got really bad and feeling like I was neglecting my art didn't help. I initially took a break because I was burning out badly from working too hard; I knew I had to make some changes to my Patreon to prevent that from happening again, but wasn't sure if people would accept them. Pretty silly, right? I know I need to break that cycle eventually though, so I'm planning to resume Patreon next month with comics plus individual art pieces. I think I'd be happier trying something new to refresh my mind and further develop my skills. Also I spoke about making comics repeatedly and it's about time I finally get to it, haha. Probably Sidlink because many of you seemed interested (thirsty) ;)

Anyway, sorry for not keeping you updated more consistently, and thank you for continuing to be with me through all this B.S. I appreciate you all so much!

Clarification on patreon pause

Hello all, there seems to be some confusion regarding my patreon's pause.

1. I will NOT be creating any Patreon exclusive content until I make an announcement saying that I will resume.

2. My Patreon is placed in "charge per creation" mode, meaning you won't be charged unless I post paid content - and since I won't be creating anything, you will NOT be charged until I resume.

3. It doesn't matter whether you remain pledged or not, you won't be charged either way.

Pausing my Patreon

Hey guys, I'm pausing my Patreon for an indefinite amount of time - it can be one month, one year, I don't know.
I realized I'm not satisfied with simply doing image packs because lately I feel like my artistic expression and development have been stifled from drawing the same thing over and over. I want to explore new products and have enough time to experiment without a monthly deadline looming over me.
This does not mean I'm going to drop drawing gay smut altogether, I love it too much to completely stop, but I need a break.
Thank you everyone for all your support thus far, I'm constantly humbled by the love I receive from all of you. If I decide to return then hopefully I will see you again.

P.S. In the meantime, any character suggestions I receive will be selected upon whenever/if I decide to resume.

Sidlink Comic Sample

I finally have something to show for a comic! This is the visual style I'm going for, though the dialogue is just something I threw in for fun :P I mentioned the idea of doing a Sidon x Link comic in the past and so far a lot of people reacted positively to the idea. I'm planning to update at most once every week..so that's 4 pages a month.

So now the question is whether I should make a separate Patreon for my comics or not.

If I put the comic on this patreon, patrons will have access to a wider variety of content without paying more! However, I may have to cut back on image packs to allot time for creating the comic.

If I put the comic on a separate patreon, patrons will get new pages more quickly via weekly instead of monthly updates (no previews, I mean the WHOLE page), plus it will not effect the amount of content on this patreon! However, patrons will have to pledge more to access the comic rewards.


What are your thoughts? Do you have better ideas? I'd love to hear them! Please vote below, and comment if you'd like to give me an elaboration on why you picked your choice.

Addressing your feedback on my Patreon

Hey everyone! Earlier this week I asked you to give me feedback on how I can improve my Patreon. In this post I'll be addressing the changes I plan to make according to the most popular requests.

1. "More image packs/more characters per month"
This is by far the most popular request; however, it conflicts with the third most popular which is "more variations per image pack." It would obviously be of better value to my patrons if I make more images every month. Unfortunately, my time is limited so I can only focus on one of these requests without wearing myself out. This leads to a poll I did in the past asking whether my patrons preferred more characters vs. more variations, and there was a clear winner:

Since both polls point towards "more characters" being the popular choice, I will place more focus on creating unique image sets than variations.

2. "Higher/more chances of having my suggested character drawn" + "More less-popular characters"
Alot of people also expressed the desire to see more less-popular characters. My plan is to give diamond tier the opportunity to get their characters drawn even if they did not win the poll. The selection will mainly be based on how long they have been my patron and if they've been picked before.

In addition, this reward will replace the extra-vote and primary poll for diamond tier. The reasoning behind this is, I noticed that after the results have been determined in the primary poll, they don't change much (if at all) during the final. Therefore if this plan goes into effect, my patreon will revert to a single poll per month in which all tiers can participate. I believe this will make things fairer and more efficient for everyone.

3. "More original designs"
I'm happy people are enjoying my original designs so I'll try to include more every month :)

4. "Another form of art such as animation, comics or games"
I definitely want to make a comic very soon, just unsure if I should include it in this patreon or make a separate one for it. Animations are something I've been interested in on and off but I need to make sure they're quality enough before I start including it in rewards. I definitely want to make a game- I already have an idea in mind- however that takes a lot of planning and I need much more time before bringing it to fruition.

5. To give my patrons some extra exclusivity, I'll start posting images in the private patreon feed a few days before they go up in public, and giving diamond tier some art that will not be posted publicly at all.

Thanks to everyone who provided feedback, I want to continue improving my service going forward <3 I'm planning to put these changes into effect starting from this month's image pack (they won't affect the art I made in January). Feel free to let me know if these sound good or if you have any concerns.
