The blue flowers the wife was carring in the hospital in this episode are the same flowers Endeavor was giving her all these years while she was still locked up in the mental facility. She only told him once that she likes them and he remembered. (in that shot after leaving her dad when he asked if she likes those flowers but the translation was a bit off i think) This just shows more that Endeavor wasn't a monster that didn't care about his kids and wife but had his problems.
