As mentionned 2 days ago, I worked really hard on making a better version of the staging engine & functions. (i.e : what is placing the characters and fuck scenes on the background). After re-importing the character generation engine into the main game a few weeks earlier, how the staging worked was still a big mess. I thought at first it would be easy to figure out "if a npc is on stage, don't create it, but redo it if he changes attitude", and stuff like that. But no, I quickly lost track of everything. Wasn't impossible, but was really hard. So I re-did all that : left of screen, right of screen, poses, attitudes, moods, it's all much more smoother now! Aaaand the maintenance went very well, no real disturbance happened, or ahead! That's very good news! Even if it's one of those invisible structural improvements, the engine is much lighter than my first shoot at it, and much more clear and easy for future external writers to use it, through the QuestMaker. Muuuch more malleable, now, to add or mess up characters or other elements on stage, potentially, without throwing players into limbos. Hurray! :D
