VN Update #1

Ayooo everybody!

From now on every month I'mm try to do these news updates to keep everyone up to speed on the state of the game Noggie and I are working on, specially now that we don't have something solid to showcase!

Progress this month has been mostly setting up all the game "bones", we have a story draft, and all the tutorial/opening dialogues all written. I have an initial set of expression arts done, but far far from being done with those lol And we have set an initial map draft, too!

Noggie's been hard at work setting up the skeleton of the game, setting up the VN itself and whatnot! I am totally not good when it comes to doing /or/ explaining that shit so maybe next month I'll let him talk a bit about what his job entails!

I /sadly/ can't show any art just yet, as I want to keep things hush and only show things that won't be spoilers!

Plans for december are the following: Have all the background, expression and CG scenes >SKETCHED< at the very least, and having the character art much more developed. I asked peeps if they prefered less expressions with more detail, or more variety with quicker renders, people overwhelmingly voted for more variety!!

With all the art sketched/drafted, Noggie can go ham into inserting all that in the game. Ideally plan for the end of the year/start of january is to have something to release for you guys to play but I will not rush. I'll make sure to show tidbits of the art that won't spoil much in the meantime <3

I'm sorry I don't have much to show, but I promise the project is shaping nicely, I'm sure you guys will enjoy it once you get your hands on it!
