Tablet Break In Today...
Added 2018-09-20 17:52:15 +0000 UTCGoing to break in the new Intuos tablet with the pencils I accumulated over the last couple of days. I’m going to wear the nub down to a chisel point and the working surface will look like polished black glass in about a week.

2018-09-22 02:22:12 +0000 UTCNew tablets have a surface texture which rubs the stylus nub down as you use it. Simultaneously, the surface texture smoothes out as you're constantly polishing it with the stylus nib. Eventually, the nib looks like a slanted chisel point, and the surface texture of the tablet becomes smooth and very low-friction.

2018-09-20 20:55:01 +0000 UTCEverything I do goes through a digital process. I'm not sure if he means my work is better when I draw it on real paper and scan it, and he prefers that to my digitally drawn material. Or if he means it's better as just an original pencil without any digital process.
