Updates and Such
Added 2021-06-30 14:42:11 +0000 UTCHello everyone. Just wanted to give some kind of update since there's a lack of anything else right now. I'm currently using some of my spare time to learn some new stuff with the creation kit and modding in general. For those of you who have gotten custom followers, you know one of the hardest things to do with unique followers is coming up with spells that can replicate the character's. Some characters are just really powerful and don't have practical abilities that would work for a Skyrim Follower. Some have crazy abilities that would need advanced scripting knowledge.
I'm currently working on some ways to do a little bit more. I don't want to make any promises yet, but I'm going to be working on trying to make better spells for followers when possible. I've got guns figured out, finally. Now I want to get spells figured out. Some stuff wont be possible for me just yet, like followers that can transform (something I've been trying to figure out for years),but I'll hopefully be able to figure out how to make a follower cast a meteor shower. Or turn the ground into lava for a few seconds or something. And then being able to use the basis for spells like that to create other spells, like instead of the floor being lava, the floor could have a puddle of light that heals people or something.
I'm going to try to have something released in early July. I have a few things in various stages of completion that I don't feel like I need to redo completely. It's just a matter of finishing some up and testing them. I'll figure out time management one of these days...
