Pokemon forum interlude: please participate!

Author's Note: So, I recently go this idea and thought I'd float it past everyone. If anyone responds I'll do it again in the future, if not, not. I occasionally make little forum interludes for my Rattata fanfic (never a full chapter), and then it struck me that it would be a great idea to give people the opportunity to say what they think about the story by inserting themselves into the story as participants.

In lieu of not having a template to riff off of, I'll just post the original post of an upcoming forum interlude I was planning, the one about Bruno vs Blaine. You can reply in the comments according to the following template if you want to be included in the forum. Don't worry too much about consistency and just say whatever comes to mind. I will find a way to include every comment, as long as its relevant to the thread. I will also be posting under pseudonyms in the comments if you write something funny enough ;)

Topic: Bruno vs. Blaine

So, it's official. We've been eating good for the first time after several years. Lance challenging the Elite Four for a spot finally rattled things awake in this dusty Pryce era. He beat Bruno, and maybe because he's seeking a rematch, Bruno now wants to take Blaine's spot. It's unclear how that would actually work, as it could also just bump Lance to the position of third Elite Four member without having to re-challenge Bruno.

Regardless, Bruno vs. Blaine is going to be an absolute treat. Fighting types vs. fire types. No serious type advantages or disadvantages, just two of Kanto's five strongest trainers duking it out at the start of the Indigo conference. Live or on TV, no matter where you're watching from, strap in your seatbelts. What are your predictions for this battle, why is it happening, what will it lead to?

Bruno's known team: Machamp, Hitmonchan, Hitmonlee, Machoke, Hitmontop, Primeape, Heracross (Rumours has it he's been training up an Onix)

Blaine's known team: Arcanine, Magmar, Rapidash, Magcargo, Charizard, Typhlosion, Ninetails, Growlithe

Blaine's older than sliced bread. But to be fair, so are Agatha and Pryce. When the three of them plus Oak ruled the Elite Four, it was peak era. Would be sad to see Blaine go, as it would leave only half of the Elite Four of my childhood, but sometimes you gotta shake things up. Also, to be honest, Bruno's sweat probably smells way better than Blaine's

Realistically speaking Bruno has no chance, Blaine's been in his seat for too many years, he has too much experience. Also, Bruno challenged randomly without preparing just because he got salty over his loss to Lance. Impulsiveness does not a winner make. Also, how are fighting types going to win over fire types? Stay far away and get burned from a distance, get closer, get burned from up close. GG. Betting odds are on Blaine's side, and so am I. Easy money for anyone wanting to jump on the Blaine-wagon.

@Seatsniffer69 You had me in the first half, but I should have known from the name that it was just a setup for a shitty joke. Regardless, you're right, Bruno is younger and quite frankly just wants it more. Blaine's been talking about retiring for years now.
