Game porting poll
Added 2024-10-10 12:29:51 +0000 UTCAs promised this is the poll to decide on the next adaptation. let's see how this goes and if it will be one-time thing or a more regular occurance.
For the moment I'll leave out the suggestions that were not video games and which are not single player
Also, apparently polls can only have 25 options, so I just took the first 25. This is also too much so I'll hold this poll to narrow the selection then make a top 5 decision poll if I think its necessary.

2024-10-11 14:03:25 +0000 UTCTo be fair. I know it's too big and I voted for Civ. I figured it's a good reason to go into the world building of the empire and all the different sects. Demon encampments instead of barbarians. Small sects instead of city states. Fortuitous encounters instead of Goody Huts. It just all can be easily mapped over to learn about the setting.

2024-10-11 08:26:29 +0000 UTCMost of these I look at and just think they are way way way too big. Outlast is about 5-6 hours in a contained area. There's not a huge amount of environments, just enough it doesn't get repetitive over it's short runtime. That took Jin months to develop under crunch. It also pushed what he could fit in the artifact which holds these things. Skyrim? Cyberpunk? I hope he has a decade and a much much much higher quality box thingie. Then he has a combat problem. However many months of training for Dragon Slayer Ornstein. One single encounter. He needs small contained games with little or no combat so he can spend time working up to combat outside of the development.

Have two modes Practice where you can use any technique you like or Training where any weapon you pick up your body is forced to use that a kata of that style of weapon. The more options the better. It would give the cultivator a familiary with different weapons and styles and would be a great way for new cultivators to find their style of choice.
