The Last Barbarian 0.9.27 is out!

This day has come! The Last Barbarian 0.9.27 is OUT! I must confess. This has been one of the most challenging releases of all time in development.

The Mother Nature Quest Reworked - Part 1

I am working on fixing the storyline to fit the Lore. So, what has been changed in the quest? I completely reworked the models and scenes with elves. A small side-quest has been added where you can witness the transgender nature of the elves.

Additionally, you can complete this quest in two ways.

1. Free the elves from the prison, expose the champion with the help of Shorka

2. Free the elves from the prison, and expose the champion on your own.

Depending on the chosen path, you will have a different entry into the Clan War quest (planned to be finished at the end of May).

The Mother Nature Quest Part 2 - Is planned for the next update 0.9.28. Where you can get rid of Mind Flayer, heal the forest, and free the Spirit of The Forest to get a good ending for this quest.

Backend changes

As I mentioned earlier I keep implementing a slot system for game saves (it’s still in progress). To finish it, I need to get rid of the outdated save keys and triggers that were added to the game in the early stages of development. It has already been done for the quests Mother Nature and Path of Revenge. The rest still needs to be improved. Additionally, I added an inventory to the game. It currently only works for the Mother Nature quest and will undergo further changes. A critical error when creating save files has been fixed (I hope this solution works well).

When the scene contains multicamera support - you’ll see a hint in the middle left corner of the screen

• Updated the chest model. It's placed right in front of Barbarian's cell.
• Exiting the dungeon now blocks spores instead of crates (they -cannot be destroyed by bare hands) (lore adjustment).
