Added 2021-04-27 08:14:32 +0000 UTCPage 15 is complete! This will be the last stop for Howl and Jasper, and will be taking place at his home to the end! Going to take the opportunity to shed some light on Howls character and why things may seem a bit surprising given the neighborhood.
Also was asked to show some more of my line art drafts! So here's some rough page work before it gets colored proper and dialogue^^

Thank you for the kind words Ralph Wolf! As far as some pretext for the sudden change to howls place, I did decide to leave out that because I thought it was easy to push the scene a long while not having to explain every detail. As far as the world they live in, its generally progressive. I intend to have Howl explain some kink culture to Jasp. And then Jasp will be caught up to the current timeline in the first page shown.

The vibe is playful and genuinely funny. When Jasper dropped his soap in the shower I thought it was going to evolve like just another bad porn plot, but it didn't quite turn out like he expected! He was confident and taking the lead trying to hook up in the showers, but then freaks out when it turned into a proper date requiring conversation. I do have a small question about continuity. We all know why they are really going back to Howl's place, but what is the pretext? Have either of them actually come out at this point? Is it still going to get wierd or are they just living in a modern enough world where labels aren't necessary? Either way the 'confession' here shows they're still not on the same page yet. :-) In any case, it's off to a great start. I can't wait to see how it evolves. Congratulations!
