Fetishnale - Dee Restraint II (Process)

A couple of the many concept thumbnails I sent her:
I wasn’t looking for her to recreate the thumbnails precisely, I wanted her to use them only as a springboard and then to interpret them however she saw fit. Of the photos she created I chose this one (again posted with permission) which captured what I was going for in the above thumbs:
I liked that her hair was covering her eyes and wanted to emphasize that, and I also wanted to create a bit of tension so I added the leash in the original sketch:
Somehow I felt the nude wasn’t working, and it was a fetish/kink show after all so I decided to add some accessories:
And then, to ink!
But, as I was working on it, again I was struck with the feeling that it wasn’t as good as it could be. I found it a little boring. So even though I had invested the time in drawing it on paper I decided to go back and revise it:
Finally it felt like it was working so I then moved to final inks:
There’s an interesting difference between the final inked piece and the digital “pencils” that preceded it - I think both contains elements that were more successful than the other. But ultimately I was happy enough to put it in a frame!
