That double-punch ending to episode 1, with Gene in the basement and then Tony with Junior, is a contender for best 5 minutes of the entire series. When everyone said this final season was dark they did not lie. This is only the beginning. And to help out with the timeline: 21 months passed in the real word between seasons 5 and 6. In the show, 16 months passed. Episodes 3 and 4, here we come!

If you remember Eugene, the guy who hung himself, was made at the same making ceremony as Christopher. He probably was ratting because his kid got busted for drugs. If you can try to keep in mind the name of the jacket Eugene wore(it’s the title of this episode) that Vito makes fun of him for. It’s called a “Members Only Jacket”. File that information in the back of your mind.
