The wise thing is not to watch this and Homelander and what's going on and then think about our own country and what people are doing.. It's the reverse. Watch what's going on in our own country and then see how the creators of this show are so obviously writing their biases into the story of the show in order to sell their narratives even further. It is incredibly obvious that they are making Homelander, Stormfront and there followers analogous to something else going on in reality while having those characters be unimaginably horrible so as to tie the two together in the mind of the viewer unconsciously. Really wish they wouldn't do that, but it's a great show anyways. Despite the obvious bias though, the whole Vought thing and how everything is Vought, and how her birthday party everyone is dressed up as Homelander, Starlight, etc. and how you have Vought News, VS4, etc. how even the stuff that's supposed to be bringing you unbiased stuff mirrors the mainstream in our society. We worship celebrities so much we let them influence our beliefs, dress up like them on Halloween, and watch and believe news stations which are owned by corporations whose bottom line is profit. (not reporting things objectively). And the majority of it escapes the awareness of the average person.
