Cobra Kai Season 4 Episode 8 'Party Time' Full TV Reaction!!

Cobra Kai Season 4 Episode 8 'Party Time' Full TV Reaction!!

Comments

Vanessa-Louie's sister is Ralph Macchio's real life daughter.

Ashley Murphy

Dimitri's suit gave me the biggest smile! :D I hate that Sam and Miguel were not smart enough to just ignore Robbie and Tori. And then once again Sam goes too far and escalates the situation too far, when she could have just walked away. And it sucks so much that Miguel, for a fleeting moment, got some fatherly love that he obviously craves, only to have it torn away when Johnny says "I love you too, Robbie." :( I feel so bad for Stingray. I hate to say it, but ever since Karate Kid 3, Terry Silver has been one of my favorite characters of the franchise. I like how intense he is, and how Thomas Ian Griffith plays the part.

I would wait until the entire season is watched coz one Cobra Kai video will lead to recommendations that will spoil everything. There are several really cool Cobra Kai videos on YouTube to watch after the season is done.

Alex

LMAO!

Alex

I think Kreese massively underestimates Terry. And like Sam said Kreese loves to bring up the past. This is Kreese's mistake. Anybody would be appreciative of what Kreese did but if they just keep on bringing it up over and over again as a manipulation tactic it would get old really fast.

Alex

Sam was saying in her head like Terry "You wanna be Cobra Kai?" over and over again. XD XD

EdmanXERO

Y'all the real MVPs. Hahahaha. I can't wait to see it!

EdmanXERO

Haha! Why yall cheating, Sam?

Jah (jakwiq) (Jah Quick)

Terry was authentic at first, Kreese eventually broke him and unleashed a demon. Commentors saying it was all planned from the beginning I disagree

Earlier in the season Johnny said to Daniel something like "some kids need a bit of aggression" in relation to the differing philosophy's of Miyagi-Do/Eagle Fang. Daniel using 'Eagle Fang' on Anthony here and it actually seemingly working is the first time Daniel seeing that Johnny's methods can actually work. Potential growth for our boy Larusso at last?? :)

JD

Hey Sam, most deserving of a beating: Zack(Anthony's blonde friend) or Stingray?

Mark M

I don’t think the probability is high however I wouldn’t be surprised if Tory ends up pregnant in another season or so.

Tristan Durant

When Silver fights Johnny, Johnny blacks out after the first hit to the face, "A man can't see, he can't fight." Then Silver hits him in the throat "A man can't breath, he can't fight." Then the final kick through the wood, "A man can't stand, he can't fight."

Stephen King

I'm so happy you finally saw robby and torie dancing! Theres a really awesome video on YouTube with the weekends song "in you're eyes" which is a dedication to Robby and Torie, I didnt want to mention it before because it had spoilers but now since you've pretty much caught up it's definitely worth a watch ☺️

dieselbeast

Yeah Xolo's portray of emotion is really strong acting, definitely looking forward to seeing him in some deeper roles in the future

Andrew

Best part of the reaction was TBR feeling it and joining in with the *Stingray chant* and then Sam just turning to him with a look of despair 😅 Sam has no time for Stingray at all,I think she was secretly enjoying and cheering on that beating of him at the end of the episode 😄

Andrew

Season 2 and 4 have the best finales in my opinion. So I am very much looking forward to your reaction to the next two episodes!

Jonathon Dragovan

Don’t worry about Miguel , him being " off " is definitely intensional , there’s nothing wrong with Xolo ( the actor ) , this just proves that he’s an amazing actor , and if you think these two episodes are the strongest ones , you’re gonna love episode 9 and 10 😂

It is truly incredible that you guys picked up on Miguel not being happy for the whole season. I didn't even realize that but you guys are right. Truly remarkable and TBR is such a psychic dude. *lips sealed* Not about Miguel about other stuff. Kreese is a master manipulator and I think his treatment of Stingray was 100% calculated and 100% necessary. Stingray is incredibly delusional. I'm not sure if he's a narcissist coz he doesn't seem to use anyone or manipulate anyone but he decided to mimic Hawk. But he did it in a different way Hawk actually got really confident even if his persona was the source of his confidence, his change was powerful and real in that in affected other people. Stingray is completely oblivious to the fact that other people see him as absurd and ridiculous and he remains 100% congruent within himself about everything he is even though none of it is reflected in reality. Like a narcissist (and this is why at first I thought he was one) his entire everything depends on other people thinking he's cool, and this was at its highest when he said "This is the greatest night of my life!" at the pool party. This is why Kreese was so harsh and blunt with him. There's no other way you can deal with someone like that. His delusion is so thick not even what Kreese said worked. It started to a little, you saw him wipe a tear from his eye, but he refused to buy into it and chose to believe Kreese was just testing him. I think episode 8 is the moment where you see Silver completely revert back to the old Silver when he's fighting Johnny and screaming "Wooo!!! Looks like LaRusso taught him some defense! Come on pretty boy." A lot of people predicted this before the season came out that Silver completely redeemed himself and cleaned up his act but slowly with the influence and psychological manipulation from Kreese started turning into his old self. One thing I didn't think about before-- Silver admitted to being hopped up on cocaine in the first episode so clearly he is an addict and as you know once an addict always an addict. You always have to stay away from anything addictive when you're an addict. So ... He didn't get any cocaine but he apparently had too much alcohol so... But back to Stingray, I forgot to say this.. The way Kreese's ego is so fragile that even the mention of a weakness just shattered it. Stingray's ego is equally fragile. Which is why he is so delusional-- he has to keep that delusion alive because if not it will destroy him. The thing with that though is that everyone does have a weakness. I know I do, and nobody exists who doesn't have a weakness. Silver wasn't saying that Kreese had a weakness specifically.. Tory was hero-worshipping Kreese saying "Kreese doesn't" and Silver merely said what I just did. Though Silver might have been better off leaving out the "Of course he does" part and just say everyone has a weakness :)

Alex

Fun fact: The woman that played Vanessa LaRusso is Ralph Macchio's real life daughter, Julia! This was her first acting gig, and she killed that performance as the consultant for Daniel and Amanda. It's pretty hilarious that in Cobra Kai, they are "cousins" instead of father-daughter. XD You're not wrong about what you said about Miguel. There's something off about him, even before the "I love you" scene with Johnny. He just doesn't seem complete anymore, and it's like ever since the school fight, he's been going through some kind of emotional turmoil. These last 2 episodes are gonna be crazy. I can't wait. I'm gonna have Cobra Kai withdrawals after that. lmao

"Marisa Tomei Jr" is actually Ralph Macchio's real life daughter
