I'm willing to bet Eli Roth would be would be proud of that glowing review. When a film conjures such a visceral reaction... That'll get a splatter fan like me who liked Cannibal Holocaust, Miss Machine, Tokyo Gore Police to go sprinting to the box office Yeah I did see Hostel 3...kinda wish I didn't...just kinda meh

mikethemotormouth

Are you still planning on reacting to Road to Perdition?

James Miley

Paper Moon The Grifters Baron Fink Lonestar

NHX

Oh you're so COOL, Brewster!!!!

PIG

BAD BOYS (Will Smith) MONEY TALKS (Chris Tucker), BLUE STREAK (Martin Lawrence) LIFE (EDDIE MURPHY) NOTHING TO LOSE (TIM ROBBINS) THE EQUALIZER ,DEJAVU, FALLEN (ALL DENZEL WASHINGTON )

Kwan wallace

Nah she'll dig it

Ken Veader

I always wanted a 3rd one even though Peter had passed in real life. I even always wondered what a Lost Boys Fright Night crossover film could be lol I just loved those so much. That guitar theme too. So great.

Jonathan Patrick

I don't know what it is about those FRIGHT NIGHT movies. I find they oddly comforting. I guess so much of it takes place while he's at home. I also love Peter Vincent. I love his arc through the two movies. I grew up on Hammer Horror and I like all the little shoutouts.

Philip Davetas

I don't know if I consider the first EVIL DEAD or the 2013 movies comedies. I think they're pretty serious. There seems to be two types of EVIL DEAD movies. The drop dead serious ones and the silly Ash J. Williams line.

Philip Davetas

Really love Road to Perdition. As for Evil dead, Sam and TB need to keep in mind that there was NOTHING like Evil Dead before Evil Dead. It’s a visual revolution of ideas that might not be so impressive to today’s new viewers.

PIG

Wow! So excited about The Evil Dead! That used to be a Halloween staple for me. I remember the 1st time I rented that movie on VHS (what’s that?!? 😜) and it scared the bejeezus out of me!!

Rick Trujillo

@Jeffrey yeah that's what I mean by "slight comedic bent" because every time I get to that scene, I can't help but think "I've seen this hentai before..."

mikethemotormouth

The tree scene is pretty gratuitous and ew.

Jeffrey Miller

For horror I recommend Fright Night 1 and 2, and Pet Semetary. The 80s originals, not the remakes.

Jonathan Patrick

Alexander, I would say that's definitely true of the later installments while the first is more straight horror with a slight comedic bent

mikethemotormouth

Evil Dead is more of a comedy.

Alex

Wow, those movie choices are very different from each other, but I think you'll definitely enjoy them both! Road to Perdition is a really fantastic film and The Evil Dead is a must-watch for anyone who wants anything to do with horror.

Rue

Road to perdition is a classic! Does Tom Hanks EVER give a bad performance???

Chris Bruneau

Road to Perdition yessss, SUCH an underrated film.

Nerd Going Outside

Evil Dead is a classic, excited for that

Ken Veader

If only for their peace of mind Nick

mikethemotormouth

Although full disclosure, I kind of do hope we get to Hostel and Hostel II at some point

mikethemotormouth

But, if she can get through Evil Dead, she will love ED II!

Mike LL

The Evil Dead series is a hoot, and I think you'll enjoy Road to Perdition. But if y' all are doing gangster movies you should add Miller's Crossing to the list. It's fun to compare it with RtP

Smooticus

Aww, c'mon, guys. It's not like we're asking them to watch "Hostel" or "The Human Centipede!" :-)

William 1611

I hear you on that. Pretty brutal for someone fresh to this.

Philip Davetas

I've tried to watch Road to Perdition 4 times and I doze off at the same point every time. Will just hit the CK reacts this week. Not a big fan of horror films and I haven't seen Arcane on my own yet. 👍

Donna Castellano

I love THE EVIL DEAD for it's filmmaking accomplishments. But where it works for me is DEAD BY DAWN all the way through to ASH VS. EVIL DEAD and can't wait for the new movie. And much to folks' disappoinent I really enjoyed ROAD TO P.

Philip Davetas

Evil Dead’s on the menu boys! Let’s hope we get all the movies and the remakes. As well as the show possibly!

Jonathon Dragovan

Road to Perdition is an interesting choice but I like it. That's why I love your channel because of the variety.

Tim Raths

Something tells me Sam is gonna hate Evil Dead...
