2022-05-03 13:45:27 +0000 UTCThis movie is incredible. Every time I rewatch, there's the obvious love for Jordan and Stallone, but my God, Coogler is such an incredible filmmaker. I'm sure you've seen Black Panther, but I would highly recommend Fruitvale Station, also starring MBJ. I cannot wait to see what else this director does in his career. So fulfilling watching this with you two after the Rocky journey, and don't worry, Sam. I cried a bunch too, and I've seen it several times. I'm a complete sucker for these characters. Can't wait for Creed 2!

2022-05-03 07:22:22 +0000 UTCI really like this movie and all, but I have a problem with how they treated Rocky declining treatment at first. I just felt Rocky's decision wasn't given any respect. I understand that they have to have him "fight" cancer because nobody wants a bummer ending, but at least try to understand Rocky's position and show it as just as valid as getting treatment. Nobody said, "Rocky, I wish you'd get treatment because you mean a lot to me, but if you decide that you don't want treatment I'll see you through this."

2022-05-03 00:53:16 +0000 UTCThat training montage where Adonis is running in the streets to Rocky's place with the dirt bikers riding along with him gets me hyped every time. This movie did a PHENOMENAL job with the legacy of both Rocky and Apollo. It also helps that Michael B. Jordan is also my favorite actor of this generation. lol This movie was directed and written by Ryan Coogler, who also directed and wrote Black Panther for the MCU (which also has Jordan in it). They also did one other movie together called "Fruitvale Station", which is an amazing movie I hope you guys react to one day.

2022-05-02 21:55:42 +0000 UTCshortly after shooting for this movie wrapped up, i went to philly and went rocky sight-seeing. the cemetery where adrian's headstone is ... the headstone is still there. they keep it near the entrance for tourists. but where they place it in the cemetery for the movie.. i went to that spot as well. and there was noticeably 2 headstones there recently. i knew 1 spot was adrian's ... i spent the next 4/5 months concerned that this movie was the death of rocky. - opening night comes along...rocky gets cancer...god i was devestated. so i had a happier ending, because i honestly spent all that time thinking rocky was going to pass.

Sly should have won Oscar for this movie but glad he got nominated at least and did win the Golden Globe. On Creed 2 I will explain why I personally don't like it after that reaction. But Creed 1 to me was great. Rocky, Best character ever. Best way to spend my birthday! ππΏ
