The fourth was straight to video and they try to recapture the magic of the first two, but one of the lead characters they brought back was a recast. Not the same at all. So watch the first two. Skip 3 and 4.

Like definitely I am glad they saw Rocky 3 before seeing Cobra Kai, because, or at least before the episodes with the call backs. :) Oh and speaking of which I don't think it was ever brought up in the comments but those movies that Johnny was watching in his apartment were Iron Eagle and Iron Eagle 2. It's kind of like Top Gun but Johnny would probably bite my head off he knew I made that comparison :) I haven't seen them but if anyone else who has wants to comment on whether they're good or not? I have them on my plate but forgot about them.
