Terry Silver is my favorite Karate Kid villain, Thomas Ian Griffith has so much fun in the role.

I wonder if that was on purpose. It seems like so very many of the things in this movie are done on purpose. For ex. in the beginning when the girl says something about hanging out soon and Daniel says "how soon?" is reminiscent to when Ali says she broke up with Johnny weeks ago and he's like "Weeks? How many weeks?" lol

The kind of loyalty and ridiculous things that someone is willing to do for such a tight knit tribe/clique like Cobra Kai is something that you see in real life a lot, especially with cults. You just kind of gotta go with it. It seems ridiculous but you have to see that what seems ridiculous in the mind of a sane person seems perfectly normal in the mind of a narcissist or psychopath.

I loved how every time Snake and Mike Barnes broke into the shop they turned the lights out lol. Your reactions to this definitely helped with my enjoyment of the ridiculous parts.🤣👍

2022-01-30 17:51:23 +0000 UTCCobra Kai episodes are only 28 minutes long and each season only has 10 episodes,so not as time consuming as you would have thought But if you were worried about it being a longer show than you have done up to now and taking up a spot in the schedule for too long,then you could react to 2 episodes at a time and you would get through it twice as quick,that is just a win win all round and i'm sure Mr. Miyagi would approve 🙏

2022-01-30 15:53:23 +0000 UTCI kind of understand why some people don't like the Karate Kid III. Some scenes are kind of laughable and silly with that Barnes guy. They seem somewhat repetitive to the first film except of course Daniel and Mr. Miyagi can't put a lock on the doors to the Bonsai store. However, I think Thomas Ian Griffith portrays a very convincing character (Terry Silver). I liked his performance. My heart still stays with Karate Kid II though. And I don't think my feelings on KKIII necessarily affect my feelings on the Cobra Kai series. It's quite good. One last thing I'd like to mention: I noticed that, in this movie, Daniel is breaking pieces of wood. Remember what Mr. Miyagi said about breaking wood in KKII? - "Don't know. Never been attacked by tree." ;) Great reaction you two!

2022-01-30 09:46:09 +0000 UTCRalph Maccio is like me. Now he looks decades younger than he actually is, if you see him now. He's like in his 60s I think, and he looks like he's in his 30s. It's crazy to think that the actor playing Silver is actually younger than Maccio. I definitely think they should watch The Next Karate Kid but definitely not before Cobra Kai. There's no need unless they bring Julie Pierce into the show, but it is definitely a good movie.

Fun Karate Kid 3 facts: Ralph Macchio is actually OLDER than the actor who played Terry Silver! And sticking with age, they switched the potential love interest into a "friend" role during production because of the age difference between the two, with Ralph Macchio being 27 and Robyn Lively only 16.
