He was hilarious "I tell Miguel to be inconspicuous and he shows up dressed like the Unabomber." Hannah was also another person he was mentoring in killing as well.

The smirk Dexter gave at the end makes wonder if Dex might be too desperate for a connection with Harrison and possibly try to cultivate him into something he's not.

It will still be a source of internal conflict for Dexter, he wants Harrison to be a functioning member of society and have a normal, happy life but a part of him maybe wants to bond with his son and to pass on his knowledge. Deb is really going to be on his ass now.

In other words this was his first step to becoming a serial killer. Had Harrison killed before, he would've killed Ethan. I think that video he saw of the trinity killer brought back some stored memory(s) of what had happened to his mother and triggered him to do what he did. Harrison's pretty clever...I think he took advantage of Ethan's situation and his graphic pictures to frame him.
