Is The Prestige still on the slate to react to? Haven't seen anything about it
KatMakes
2021-12-01 18:25:05 +0000 UTCAnd in a top 20 article in the Guardian last week they ranked it as Ridley Scott's 3rd best movie.
Neal Romanek
2021-11-06 21:01:25 +0000 UTCI haven't seen "The Irishman", but each of these other choices is a top-tier superior film. I hope you get the chance to see them all. Each of them will knock you out.
Mark Kelso
2021-11-06 04:23:03 +0000 UTCI agree The Prestige is one Nolan’s best.
Angel Pagan
2021-11-02 14:18:41 +0000 UTCI love "The Prestige" it is one of Chris Nolans best. But I hope you also do "L.A. Confidential." It is one of the most perfect 1950's L.A. cop movies that has ever been made. I really hope you do those two!!!

2021-11-02 06:40:09 +0000 UTCAs far as I can tell, LA Confidential is just about a perfect movie. No bad scenes and no loose plot points. Every scene contributes to the whole.

2021-11-02 05:30:01 +0000 UTCDemand is also not an indicator of quality, it's an indicator of popularity. This is the problem inherent with YouTube polling. I totally get why it's offered; I became a Patron to vote. However, I think all channels would benefit from running some "Yes/No" polls on a bunch of movies that either lost previous polls or would not be able to win a poll, and then drawing a few from a hat every once in awhile.
Tyler Foster
2021-10-28 16:49:46 +0000 UTCEventually though, you get every reaction channel watching the exact same movies. And there are so many of them, to make yourself stand out, you need to take some chances.
Neal Romanek
2021-10-28 11:50:21 +0000 UTCI agree. I prefer quality over quantity.
Catherine LW
2021-10-26 19:08:57 +0000 UTCNot so sure about that,Arachnophobia which was posted 2 days after Psycho,is about to overtake it in the views on Youtube, which would make Psycho the lowest watched movie of the entire month on the channel I am sure they will get to everything in time, but you have to start with what there is the highest demand for
Andrew
2021-10-26 04:01:24 +0000 UTCAnd the original Rocky?
Neal Romanek
2021-10-25 19:26:00 +0000 UTCSeems like Hitchcock should be it’s own category. That said, I love Rear Window!!!
Michael Soukup
2021-10-25 17:43:22 +0000 UTCBest option is watch all.. Same great movies I like a lot. Except The Irishman. the worst of this pool, but still good.. I saw last weekend Rear Window - still excelent movie. Taxi driver geeat Scorsese, better than Irishman.
David Hron
2021-10-25 10:29:32 +0000 UTCI like cheese as well.

Mark M
2021-10-24 18:45:27 +0000 UTCBoth great - and completely different - "stand" movies.
Neal Romanek
2021-10-24 18:17:35 +0000 UTCAnd of course there's ALL the Hitchcock movies - but those are more thrillers.
Neal Romanek
2021-10-24 18:04:46 +0000 UTCDrama covers a lot of ground, but some serious old school classics that I guarantee you'll love: 12 Angry Men, Citizen Kane, Casablanca, The Hustler. And newer ones: The Verdict, Network, Do The Right Thing. And period dramas: A Man For All Seasons, Amadeus, The Duellists, Chariots Of Fire.
Neal Romanek
2021-10-24 18:03:38 +0000 UTCThree masterpieces.
Neal Romanek
2021-10-24 17:56:59 +0000 UTCGreat one.
Neal Romanek
2021-10-24 17:55:13 +0000 UTCYes! Perhaps time for a survey of Christopher Nolan films…

2021-10-24 15:54:09 +0000 UTCOMG, The Prestige!! Such a kick-ass, smart movie. Make sure to pay attention. Next up: Inception.
Rudy Hernandez
2021-10-24 14:53:49 +0000 UTCI chose "Rear Window". Other suggestions: "The Big Sleep" (1946), "Casablanca" (1942), "Key Largo" (1948), "To Have And Have Not" (1944) - all with Humphrey Bogart "The Untouchables" (1987), Kevin Costner, Sean Connery, Robert De Niro "To Catch A Thief" (1955), Cary Grant, Grace Kelly "Dead Poets Society" (1989), Robin Williams, Robert Sean Leonard, Ethan Hawke "The Postman" (1997), Kevin Costner, Olivia Williams, Will Patton
Miles E Coburn
2021-10-24 12:32:18 +0000 UTCApart from the above, I already left a list at the previous drama poll, but I forgot, if you have never watched The Impossible (2012) I recommend! 😊
Domino
2021-10-24 09:04:25 +0000 UTCPS: Not that you need MORE great dramas for this poll, but for future polls, or eventually, there is one drama that is guaranteed to make a great reaction video, a totally iconic performance that i can't believe doesn't get mentioned: SOPHIE'S CHOICE. "Rear Window" is suspense. "Irishman" is a mob movie. But "Sophie's Choice" is the very definition of a drama, and a great one. Meryl Streep's greatest performance, Kevin Kline's greatest performance, really great movie.
Tic Toc Melody
2021-10-24 08:54:03 +0000 UTCIt could win, but it's pitted against other great movies, so it splits the vote. Choosing between Taxi Driver and Cuckoo's Nest is a Sophie's Choice situation.....which by the way would ALSO be a great drama to watch!!! And then you throw "Rear Window" in there. Some people are "Irishman" fans, so instead of doing "Taxi Driver" they vote for that one. But they're doing "Raging Bull" this next month, I'm sure they'll get to "Taxi Driver" eventually.
Tic Toc Melody
2021-10-24 08:51:03 +0000 UTCGreat list. The two I regard the least are winning, but they're worth seeing. It's hard to choose, I feel guilty if I choose "Cuckoo's Nest" over "Rear Window"! Or "Taxi Driver" over "Cuckoo's Nest"! "The Irishman" is more De Niro-Pesci-Scorcese, I feel bad saying no to those guys but I think they would understand me choosing "Rear Window"! lol. ALL of those movies are worth reacting to......and I"m sure you will, eventually! Gaaaaa, I'm choosing "One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest" because that is nothing else if not a drama!
Tic Toc Melody
2021-10-24 08:48:42 +0000 UTCSorry, one more suggestion: Lawless (2012)
Uncle 'Traveling' Matt
2021-10-24 07:32:44 +0000 UTCOnly three of these are dramas, but I was thinking, you guys should totally have a foreign film category too! 😄 Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amélie Poulain (2001) France Amores Perros (2000) Mexico La Vita È Bella (1997) Italy Los Lunes Al Sol (2002) Spain
Domino
2021-10-24 06:43:07 +0000 UTCI doubt Taxi Driver will ever win a poll. That's really a shame because it's such an interesting film and I would be VERY interested to hear your guys' thoughts afterwards.
Uncle 'Traveling' Matt
2021-10-24 06:11:47 +0000 UTCStand By Me is a good film, but the one coming-of-age story that really hit me back when it came out is My Girl (1991), anybody who'd love to see that? There's only one reaction to Men Of Honor (2000) on Youtube, so I'd like to see that one getting some love as well some day.
Marcus Laubner
2021-10-24 05:43:53 +0000 UTCOof, I had to vote for Cuckoo's but against Taxi Driver, even though both are destined to lose the polls, I think you guys would really appreciate them, late 70s actually had some great films from Milos Forman, Scorsese, Spielberg, et al

2021-10-24 04:29:48 +0000 UTCFor the next drama poll I recommend: Network (1976) — The French Connection (1971) — Raging Bull (1980)

2021-10-24 03:31:44 +0000 UTCEmerson said that with democracy, you usually end up with mediocrity. 😕
Catherine LW
2021-10-24 01:46:18 +0000 UTCFurther support and love for "Stand by Me"
Andrew
2021-10-24 00:28:13 +0000 UTCOne more recommendation: The Kingdom (2007)
Uncle 'Traveling' Matt
2021-10-24 00:10:53 +0000 UTCI "threw my vote away" on LA Confidential :) Been waiting for some good reactors to watch it
Sarah
2021-10-24 00:08:47 +0000 UTCI thought the same thing. I was hoping LA Confidential would win. If you want a good movie about Illusionists watch The Illusionist with Edward Norton. That and The Prestige came out the same year.
Chandra
2021-10-23 23:57:11 +0000 UTCIt's all subjective.
David Crabtree
2021-10-23 23:54:06 +0000 UTCPlease consider Stand by Me (1986) for a future poll. Thanks :)
Uncle 'Traveling' Matt
2021-10-23 23:51:50 +0000 UTCDemocracy sucks at times🤷🏻♂️
Shehab Dawoud
2021-10-23 23:51:21 +0000 UTCThe Prestige? In a landslide? Literally every movie in the poll is better. I mean, it's fine. I enjoyed it. But everything else is better. By quite a distance. C'est la vie.
barn ninny
2021-10-23 23:44:19 +0000 UTC100% recommend The Assassination Of Jesse James By The Coward Robert Ford. It’s a long movie, but it is stunning.
Garry L
2021-10-23 23:09:40 +0000 UTCAmadeus (1984) for a future reaction would be awesome ;)
Garmonbozia93
2021-10-23 23:06:21 +0000 UTCRear Window is in a class by itself, probably the most reliably enjoyable film of all times - if I've got a group of friends getting together with no idea what everyone likes, Rear Window is always a crowd pleaser.
Mark
2021-10-23 23:06:02 +0000 UTCA suggestion for future polls, The Duellists 1977 film, Ridley Scott’s debut as a director.
Lee
2021-10-23 23:04:20 +0000 UTCRear Window! Stylish, suspenseful thriller!

2021-10-23 22:50:58 +0000 UTCRear Window! Can’t wait to see the reaction to that
