2021-10-06 11:38:47 +0000 UTCPS: Two more dramas: A STREETCAR NAMED DESIRE. See Marlon Brando's breakthrough performance, changed the course of acting. The very definition of a great drama! And THE MISFITS, Marilyn Monroe's last movie (and Clark Gable's). It's a really powerful drama, made even more powerful when you know it's their last movie, and neither would live to make another one. Almost eerie. Marilyn is incredible in this movie, as is the entire cast.

2021-10-06 11:37:12 +0000 UTCI'll second some of the suggestions I've seen already: THERE WILL BE BLOOD. Oh my god yes. Also, BOOGIE NIGHTS (same director). I saw FARGO mentioned. Absolutely. DOG DAY AFTERNOON (1975), oh my god. Pacino at his absolute best. DONNIE BRASCO also. CHINATOWN (1974) with Jack Nicholson is incredible, although if One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest isn't winning this poll, what chance has "Chinatown"? lol! CARNAL KNOWLEDGE (1971) is another super fantastic Jack Nicholson movie that, quite frankly, and a movie that not just any certain reactors would be able to do a good job with, you guys being two of them. MIDNIGHT COWBOY (1969-Dustin Hoffman, Jon Voight), THE GRADUATE (1967 - Dustin Hoffman's first movie), BONNIE AND CLYDE (1967 - Warren Beatty, Faye Dunaway, Gene Hackman), BLOW UP (1966).....these are all major, groundbreaking movies of the 60s that are among the first "modern" feeling films, and have really held up. And I haven't even ventured into old golden age movies, so I'll just leave it at this one: CITIZEN KANE (1941), the big Daddy of 'em all, endlessly fascinating, still amazing, still entertaining. Ok, I just unloaded a ton of titles. I LOVE YOU GUYS AND I LOVE YOUR CHANNEL! :D

2021-10-04 19:01:23 +0000 UTCYou'd love it. Would also be a great introduction to the work of River Phoenix (Joaquin's older brother) who was taken from us way too early at just 23.

2021-10-04 16:02:44 +0000 UTCStand By Me next time. As close to a flawless film as you can get and Stephen King’s favorite adaption of one of his books
Shehab Dawoud
2021-10-04 13:58:43 +0000 UTCIt's my favorite movie. Daniel Day-Lewis's performance is unmatchable. It's the best acting I have ever seen in anything. You begin to forget you're watching an actor, you really feel like Plainview is a real man.

2021-10-04 13:48:27 +0000 UTCI would recommend "Amadeus" from 1984. Same director as "One Flew over the cuckoo's nest" and overall a perfect movie imo

2021-10-04 12:51:46 +0000 UTCRequiem for a dream (2001) is a suggestion for the list. Stars Jared Leto and Jennifer Connelly.

2021-10-04 03:17:02 +0000 UTCOne Flew over the Cuckoo's nest, if only because it would bring you closer to doing Amadeus, also by the same director.
