Im sure Im wrong and I know you two already have a huge backlog, but I dont think you two have really reacted to anime yet. Despite being half-Japanese, I'm not a big anime enthusiast outside of like Dragonball and a few more big, mainstream obvious titles, that I enjoy more than fan out over. So when I say I have a suggestion I really think you and Sam will enjoy it. And, to me, its not super ANIME-y so if you havent already seen it, it's Your Name. I feel it's really more of an actual film than anything. The main premise is fantastical but overall its very much a grounded, emotional, fuuny, beautiful looking film. I cry every time, even from just watching a reaction vid. I dont want to give away too much but the trailer is below. I hope you two can maybe consider it at some point.
