Another Big Talent Getting Time Off

This week, AEW founder Tony Khan noted that he would love to do a women's Continental Classic if the talent roster was healthy. This led to many wondering who on the roster was injured. Fightful Select learned of a prominent one that was set for time time off from the ring.
Fightful Select learned from AEW sources that ROH World Champion Athena is getting some time off from in-ring action after reaching the 1,000 day mark as champion. We weren't outright told that this was a specific injury, if she's just banged up, or if AEW/ROH were giving her time off. It was stated to Fightful that she'd be out of the ring for about 5-6 weeks.
We'll follow this situation as we get more.
