WWE Money in the Bank

WWE did not have a traditional media junket for Money in the Bank. They are still planning a post show.
The show was planned out as a four match show as of this week, as always, that can change. The Dominik/Octagon match was kept relatively quiet
We had someone speculate that EL GRANDE AMERICANO would win and cash in for the AAA Title if Gable loses. While a humorous concept, that particular angle wasn't planned as of this week.
For those asking about Wrestlevotes' report that Triple H has never been a fan of the Money in the Bank concept, that certainly tracks with things we have heard since the report. Someone pointed out Triple H has never even been in a qualifying match, much less had much to do with the concept, and he never got cashed in on. At this point, it's too much of a money maker to give up.
There has been discussion of "ladder sponsors" but we haven't heard if it's happening.
There is pyro on top of some of the stage ladders.
The plan today was for the Women's MITB to open, IC Title match second, Women's IC Title third, men's MITB fourth, and the tag match main event, per Cory Hays of Bodyslam.net
It was heavily implied to us that there is a surprise at the end of MITB.

WORLDS COLLIDE NOTES

Chavo Guerrero is backstage at today's show.
Dominik Mysterio and Liv Morgan were planned for a segment as of last weekend.
Rey Mysterio is supposed to be at today's Worlds Collide.
PWInsider says WWE claimed JBL is not scheduled to appear.

If you couldn't tell that WWE wants nothing to do with Alberto Del Rio, he was edited out of their video packages today.
Undertaker was in LA today, including at Worlds Collide.
Corey Graves gained a lot of praise for his commentary. His brother Sam Adonis actually works for AAA on a freelance basis.

INDIES

Shotzi Blackheart is rumored as the surprise GCW TOS entrant.
There is speculation that Drew Parker is at this weekend's GCW shows, though he hasn't been announced.

AEW

Adam Cole was at Summer Games Fest. The word backstage was that he told people he was fine after the Kyle Fletcher powerbomb spot recently.
Kenny Omega appeared in a Street Fighter trailer for new characters. His business manager helped put it together, and it wasn't through AEW.

Talent involved around the Women's Money in the Bank match think they know the winner.

Those that we've spoken to have indicated that they believe Naomi will end up winning the Money in the Bank briefcase. Sources claim that talent has been under that impression for a couple of weeks
