More details on last month's NXT and WWE releases

There were a number of WWE releases last month, and we’ve gained some details on their future.

There were some within NXT who knew that Jakara Jackson was set to be released, as they constructed the creative to split she and Lash Legend. It still surprised many, as there was conversation months back about Lash Legend and Jakara making their way to the main roster, and even pitches for them to win the tag team titles.

Those we spoke to in MLW said that there will likely be interest from their side with a few of the women that got released.

Gigi Dolin previously appeared for AEW in a couple of spots, wrestled in TNA this year, and worked a number of tours for Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling in 2018. She also worked a couple of MLW dates in the past and has familiarity there.

Dakota Kai landed representation in the last couple of weeks. Cora Jade/Elayna Black did as well.

The NXT talent had a 30-day wait period, which is now up main roster have 90. R-Truth and Carlito’s deals are up over the next month or so.
