Any updates on Drew’s condition?
I've not heard of any serious injury emerging from Backlash, but it was a scary landing. There was word of Damian Priest having a dental injury that he didn't seem too happy about.

I haven't heard that he was injured. There were some ideas floated around for him working with Kenny Omega upon Omega's return that didn't come to fruition. Last I saw, he was working on forging cool metal and iron shit in his yard. Like, iron items, not like iron shit.
Do you see the IC title swapping hands a few times over the summer?
Well, it depends on which IC Title. I don't think WWE has any real vision for the women's IC title, so probably. With the men's, I think Dominik could lose it and win it back as the babyface run solidifies.

Sad to hear that WWE doesn't have a real vision for the women's IC title, but I'm also not surprised. Seems to be the same case with the women's US title.

2025-05-17 17:42:54 +0000 UTCJack Perry is in a tough spot because he and Ricochet are competing over the same spot. Upper midcard heel attached the Elite. And Ricochet is just better than him. I'm reminded of FCW and the start of the Wyatts where Eli Cottonwood was replaced by Luke Harper. They have a similar look and serve a similar function, but one is just better. TV time in AEW is at a premium and if a talent comes in who is better than you at your role, you're going to be replaced. You can change Jack's role, but is he better than Gabe Kidd? Mike Bailey? Kevin Knight? If you want him in the main event, is he better than Swerve, Ospreay, Omega and others? I think he's just odd man out.
