Hey SRS. A while back there were rumors about AEW not renewing Abadon's contract. Obviously they're still with the company as of now. Any word or update on that situation that you're aware of?

That situation was a frustrating one to watch unfold. I can't speak to Abadon, or AEW's plans for them or what they've said, because they haven't been used since. However, there were other people mentioned that absolutely were not told their contract were expiring. Even if that was the plan, it's a situation where you should talk to the talent first, and that didn't happen.

Do you know the backstage reaction to jordynne vs giulia with how physical it got/the neck bumps?

There were audible reactions backstage when they happened. It was made pretty clear that NXT does not want to normalize bumps like that. The first one was just a miscommunication, as Giulia tucked her chin on a spot where she wasn't supposed to. It was similar to the confusion of taking a Styles Clash for some. The second was just a rough landing.

Any insight on why Tom Lawlor and NJPW stopped working together? They were building up a fun story with him and Fred Rosser for a long time but he hasn't shown up on any of their US shows in ages, it seems.

Tom Lawlor worked the Windy City Riot show in April against TJP. I'll ask if there was anything else to it, but he only wrestled for NJPW six times in 2024, so that wouldn't be out of the ordinary cadence for him or anything.
