Excellia vs Heracles
Added 2020-12-23 14:20:32 +0000 UTCMaybe my last comic for a while. I'm burnt-out on comics. Even 'simple' ones. For some reason I just couldn't get Heracles to look the way I wanted, and it broke my spirit settling for what I got, and it being a comic made it that much worse, because I had to draw him twice rather than just the once. Ugh. I hope this doesn't happen with the Supergirl thing I want to draw, because some of my ideas involve a lot of vignettes, like a story-board, and if Supergirl ends up looking different in each one . . . Ugh.
This is my first drawing of 'young' Excellia. I like the short hair on her. I also like that her character has different incarnations.

2020-12-23 16:33:24 +0000 UTCI don’t draw as much as you, but I’ve had that happen several times where I can see the image in my head but for some reason it ends up looking different on paper no matter how many times I redraw it. You have my sympathies for that frustration. Take heart in that even when you’re disappointed in your work it comes out looking better than most of us (certainly me) could ever do!
