Nigel McGuinness update

McGuinness returned to the ring at AEW All In as a participant in the Casino Gauntlet match, as well as Lee Moriarty’s mystery opponent at ROH Final Battle. In addition, McGuinness faced Bryan Danielson at AEW Grand Slam.
McGuinness had been in ring shape for AEW All In 2023, but the appropriate match didn’t end up happening. However, when we asked about McGuinness’ in ring status following ROH, we were simply told that it isn’t expected to be his last match. We weren’t told of any active creative for McGuinness, and he’ll continue on commentary.

I love the idea of Nigel randomly popping up as a wrestler without much hype. The ROH match was magic and everything I could have wanted: Nigel looked good, was great on the mic and made Lee look like a champ.
