More On Brit Wres Talent At NXT
Added 2024-11-21 04:45:45 +0000 UTCFollowing the November 19th edition of NXT, photos began to circulate on social media of PROGRESS Women’s World Champion Rhio, Tate Mayfairs and Molly Spartan in the crowd at the taping.
Fightful Select’s Corey Brennan asked around both in British Wrestling and NXT about the trio's presence, and was told by multiple sources that the trio were “just visiting for now” at the taping. Rhio is currently based in Orlando for her US tour, and is working under a visa provided by PROGRESS as we previously reported.
Rhio has previously tried out for the company, and was part of the crop of UK talent invited to WWE Clash At The Castle earlier this year, while Mayfairs is a former NXT UK roster member. Spartan is a familiar face to those who follow along with the Scottish wrestling scene, and is married to NXT’s Wolfgang.
Rhio and Mayfairs both also worked AEW All In and Collision respectively earlier this year.
For those who have asked about European talent being WWE ID’d, we have not heard of any talent being offered an ID deal, we have yet to hear of any talent ID’d as of this writing.
