Just a quiet week working on a couple sets and beginning the image generation for the final episode. Made a couple of little tweaks to the final battle to make it a little more immersive. A little in the vain of the Krillen battle, however a far more efficient use of images. Much of my effort in the final release will be to make this battle look as spectacular as possible.

Just a quick aside first, to address a minor issue that is being reported in playthroughs. Some players are getting 'stuck' in a Gideon loop, where they visit the club and are unable to set a new destination, via speaking with Tanya on the bridge. Getting out of this loop is easy enough, as you can just set a new destination, immediately upon return to the ship, using the map interface. The final poll for bikini week will be posted tomorrow. All of these polls are open until 23rd Dec and I will post the preferred alternatives in my pre-Christmas post. I may not be able to use the poll winner in every single case, as this would mean that many of the outfits would be similar. The writing / scripting first pass is complete, however I will be tweaking the Hydas event a little in order to wrangle in the image count a little. The final image count will be around 550. This is a little higher than the original plan and also more than where I sat last week. As a direct result, this has pushed out the forecast date a few days from the extra content. Firstly for those that haven't noticed, Callisto v0.81 has been released to all Patreons. In the meantime, I have already started work on v0.90. Early in the week, I created the first draft of the outline, which has since been tweaked, after feedback from the development team. In parallel with this, I have been developing the new sets to be used in v0.90. It's always important to determine the quality of the potential images that can be created for game events.

The Callisto beta for v0.80 was released to $10 Patreons a couple of days ago. It includes all content that will be contained in the final release. There have already been multiple playthroughs by the development team and the proofreading was also completed and implemented. Simple summary, is that it should be very close to the final version, with only items raised during beta testing, requiring addressing.

The alpha testing has started and I have done a run through of the content in the current version. The only components missing, are the images for one of the miscellaneous events and the news story. The compiled game is with the development team, that will assist in identifying significant bugs and undertake the proof reading. Everything is on track to release the beta next week.

Right in the middle of the image creation process and am immersed in the Ball event renders. These turned out to be a little more challenging than expected, due to the number of characters required in order to fill out the room. With my current hardware, I can generally get two characters and a background to render on my GPU, without taking in any steps to optimise. Spent the week posing the animations required for the next episode. Ended up adding a few and have managed to pose all but one of the intended animations. The one remaining is the landing animation to Pheobe, which is relatively straight forward. Already have the render queue cranking through these, which will continue for the next couple of weeks.
