Details on an AEW return being cleared

Sources close to Aussie Open’s Mark Davis tell Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp that he’s been cleared for a return to the ring at long last. Mark Davis missed over a year of action with an injury, last competing at AEW WrestleDream 2023 for the AEW World Tag Team Titles against FTR.
Since then, his longtime Kyle Fletcher has emerged as a singles star in AEW and ROH. Davis reappeared on screen to scold Fletcher for his on-screen decision to dissolve his partnership with Will Ospreay, but we’ve not seen Davis wrestle yet.
Davis underwent knee surgery in May of 2023 and missed a number of months as well.
