What happened that all you journos started labeling releases as “departures” feels icky bro

Anthony Ramos

You must just like to talk because that’s no way, shape or form tribalism.

Christopher Hendrix

Indi wrestling on Smackdown right now is wild. I know they pre-recorded it but still. Your match is being televised on the day you got fired.

Justin Wilson

Supposed to be

Scott Newcomb

Probably singles

Matthew Brownlee

Tegan should have left for AEW last time when their roster could have used her. I feel badly for Corbin. He gives them whatever they need from him.

Christopher J. Avros

That makes zero sense but spout off that tribalism!

Trevor D.

Also who makes the final say on these, TKO heads or creative??

Stephen Bradley

Do we know how management decides on who gets cut whenever they decide to do Rounds Lack of plans on their side, in-ring/ promo quality etc

Stephen Bradley

Ah thank you for clarifying

Jamal Johnson

Not the 2 women they were released.

Scott Newcomb

What happen to Candice LeRae now? Indi and here were a team

Sokun Ros

With consistently signing more and more talent while leaving their current to do nothing, releasing Indi is genuinely close to my breaking point with consistently watching WWE.

Alexander Coulson

Tegan Nox said on Instagram last week, behind the subscription paywall, that she had been very sick for the past couple months but was looking forward to coming back soon. So, that explains why she was so scarce on TV, at least partly.

Greg Luca

NXT Women’s division is so deep that they were bound to start cutting some women. It sucks, obviously, because it’s never a good thing to see people losing their jobs, but it’s a competitive business and if you aren’t moving up you’re probably going to move out because there’s always another crop of young and talented performers coming up behind you. Teagen, unfortunately, kind of got derailed by injuries. That’s the bit that is particularly harsh to me about her getting let go. As they say in the NFL all the time, though, sometimes the most important ability is availability.

Benjamin Brown

So are these like contract expires I know ?

Jamal Johnson

At some point they gotta actually build up some guys they aren’t using, rather than just jumping at every WWE cut

Waltrezel

Honestly not really surprised by any of these. Maybe Baron. But Indi and Tegan never really did much for me.

Marq

Damn that sucks, I really like Corbin, think he has been criminally under used, would love to see him in AEW.

Craig Robertson

WWE’s aren’t legally qualified as non competes like the ones in legal litigation because wwe pays talent through the duration of them

Justmask

Tegan doesn’t surprise me at all, Indi sort of does, but I’m shocked at Corbin’s departure. He wasn’t doing anything in the ring, but he’s apparently very well-liked backstage and always seemed like one of Triple H‘s guys, I thought for sure he’d be a lifer and they’d move him into a producer role or something.

GC

Indie will debut at Grand Slam Australia and Tegan around that same time?

Alvin Porras

Bro Tegan Nox again??? God that fucking sucks for her

UntoldUnknown

Baron's contract is expiring but the 2 are releases

Osuman Massaquoi

They haven't done a damn thing with tegan in months and she posted something recently where she hinted at being frustrated over WWE having nothing for her. I'm sure she will land somewhere else, they will all be fine

Rj

My bad. I just remember that being a big thing at one point

Kaleb Cenite

Writing was on the wall for Corbin unfortunately. Really wish he got a fair shot on the main roster under his current gimmick

Mohamed Saffee

WWE pays there workers during the non-compete so it isn't covered by that law change. That was more for tech industry stuff where they don't allow you to work in the same industry for a certain amount of time and DO NOT pay you during that time.

Ripner Cabbit

Is this all for cuts?

Laura Castiglioni

nah that's caught up in federal lawsuit forever.

TorchCrawler

Corbin Baron to the Hurt Syndicate!!!!

Excellence of Flexecution

I thought people did away with Non competes? Wasn’t there just a big thing about that like a month or two ago?

Kaleb Cenite

This sucks

John Witte

Cuts

Christopher Hendrix

Just seen it was cuts

Christopher Hendrix

Doing something in AEW is better than what WWE has him doing. Underutilized and unappreciated

Christopher Hendrix

Corbin was a Vince guys kind of feels like once Vince was out of power his days felt numbered. I was never a big fan of Baron but his second run in NXT was great & The Wolf Dogs definitely should of had a run together. I guess he falls in the Lashley Boogs Elias & Moss tier been a favorite of the old regime not the new one. Nox just never got going unfortunately not her fault got to blame the new regime for that. Hartwell very surprising her & Candice have had regular tv time & I was enjoying there heel act & they had a feud with Candice & Bsyley set up. Indi wasn’t a great wrestler but her being Candice heater could of been a good role

Matt Hennessy

Nooo, Indi! 😭

Dorian Lecter

She is.

James Bishop

Tegan Nox (Nixon Newell) as well

Sorastro

Oh fuck..

Rei

Just so he can nothing?

Collin Ingram

I did NOT expect INDI at all. I bet the girls are so sad for her. WOW

Brandon

Wow🤦🏾‍♂️

Mannie Conish III

Indi is a big surprise as I thought they were pushing her with Candice. Unfortunately it did seem there was nothing for Baron and Tegan though.

MB

I think he could kill it in a tag team there but he might have more upside as a singles guy in Japan.

Chris Kessler

He's definitely underrated.

Matthew Bamford

I feel bad for all 3. Teagan always got back luck with injuries. Indi was onto something winning the NXT title before being hurt and then forgotten about. Corbin worked his ass off the get better, did so and was the poster child of shit booking in the late Vince era. HHH never had any interest in him it seems. Corbin should go to NJPW, he low key would kill it out there. Indi has a lot of untapped potential that AEW could use. TNA seems like a good spot for Teagan to rebuild her career.

Chris Kessler

I would absolutely take Baron Corbin in AEW!

Ali Khan

Wow

JD Larson

Why

Shawn Garner

Wow damn

Brendan Bdotlion Beal

I am going to Miss Indi, Baron, Tegan Nox they are great wrestlers when they leave WWE.

James Pittman

Aint Indi in a match airing tonight? Of the three thays the only one that really shocks me.

Justin Reid

Baron and Tegan I’m not surprised. Indi feels incredibly frustrating given how she’s always been able to get everything she’s involved in over.

Kyle Cotton

Contract expiring or release? I'm kind of surprised about Indi as she has been active on TV recently.

Forceofwilliam

Bummer 🫡

Robert I.

Wait, WHAT????

Juan Ortiz

Well this sucks to see on a Friday. I know they’ll land somewhere soon though and be thriving.

thaddperkins

WOW

Ricardo Name TBD

😞

Marty Martina

Woah……

Brian Carpenter

WHAT

The Chillest Villain

I saw Tegan Knox leaving but Indi leaving actually makes me sad.

Laquita Momon

I hope not

CMRN

Can you clarify yet if these are voluntary, cuts, or contract expirations?

Michael Branson

Oh that sucks

Jamal Johnson

Same question here

Charles Lee Ray

Released or leaving ???

Charles Lee Ray

All Elite King Corbin!

Christopher Hendrix

Indi????

A-Town Love-Under

INDI?!?!

Justyn

Wow!

Trevor D.

Oh wow. Did their contracts not get renewed or are they releases?

A

WHAT INDI????

Collin Ingram
