Any update on AJ Styles after Smackdown?
I don't usually put opinion based stuff in here, but I wanted to clarify. I was initially told that it was a work, and was planned. Reports elsewhere indicated the injury was legit. I can confirm it's been told to his friends, staff, writers, and others that it's legit, and I want to share my suspicions with all due respect in regards to Styles' health and injury status.
WWE kept the camera on him, filmed him going to the back, the segment ended on time after he had his leg and knee worked over the whole match, commentary played it up. Then later on during a live show, they had a segment set up showing him in the trainer's room, and then filmed him leaving the venue on crutches and aired it on Smackdown Lowdown. Then Jackie Redmond tweeted an "injury update," which AJ ominously followed up on. There's a lot that doesn't pass the smell test. Either way, I hope he's okay and it's just a great storyline.
Any update on the Kevin Owens and Cody Rhodes “fight” that took place after the show?
WWE were very happy with how it came off. Cody Rhodes was actually a little roughed up after the spot. However, it garnered buzz and came off as very spontaneous, which the company loved.
With most PLE’s only having 5 matches are main roster talents required to be all PLE’s regardless if they are booked or not?
Not usually. This has actually saved on a lot of travel costs, and given some talent an additional day off that normally they'd be traveling. However, WWE has done a lot more skits and brought in more legends to these shows, which we're told will be the norm. They also hand out packets backstage to educate some younger talent on the legends they'll be seeing.

2024-10-07 21:09:20 +0000 UTCI know I'm old school but I feel these kids should know the legends on sight. I know not all of them have been wrestling fans since they were young but in this industry those who came before you are more important than most other industries. It's just something I feel they should all have a basic understanding of. Maybe I'm odd, or of my generation but I research everything as thoroughly as possible before trying or joining something.
