AEW hopeful that Adam Cole returns soon

Cole sustained an ankle injury last September, and was forced to undergo two surgeries that heavily derailed AEW creative plans. Fightful Select has learned that word backstage within All Elite Wrestling is that they’re hopeful and even expecting to get Adam Cole back sooner than later, and that wheels have already been put in motion to prepare for that on-screen.
Adam Cole was backstage at AEW All Out and was walking around without the help of crutches, a boot, or anything else. Cole was on the road with AEW earlier this year, but was pulled because it seemed like it was slowing his progress down. Fightful Select reported in late August he was slated to resume in-ring training.
Sources close to Adam Cole say he was in good spirits when they saw him at All Out.
