Added 2018-10-15 07:42:02 +0000 UTCPlease don't tell anyone, but I actually don't care for Halloween too much. It's always been one of the most awkward days of the year for me. I always end up at a party where I barely know anyone, my costume sucks, and I just feel like everyone gets their expectations way up because of "sexy costumes!" and "wild night!" but it ends up disappointing for most people. Not into it. I've even spent a couple years at home handing out candy, and I almost prefer that, even though the kids look at you like "Damn . . . Didn't have somewhere cool to be tonight, huh mister?"
I've also only been in about three physical alternations in my entire life, two of which occurred on consecutive Halloweens.

I think it varies on what halloweens rocked and didn't. I had some fun at a few parties, worst was one I got dragged to that was very religious. Dull as hell, when your a 20 something who wants to party and check out a concert. Best was with an old flame and helped fill in for a buddies band who needed a guitarist last mintue becaue the orignal guitarist got a stomach bug. Got to play Machine head by bush and the crowd was loving it !

All parties I go to seem to be people just trying to be cool or pretending to be young to make it seem like their lives werent complete shams. I mean kudos to them for trying but I prefer having fun with friends I know watching scary movies or munching candy ourselves over costumes and trying to get laid with that nurse over there....wait isnt that stacy from work?
