Hurt Syndicate Has Had Talks With AEW

A recent trademark has led to much speculation about the future of what was the Hurt Business.
Totally Harmless Concept LLC filed to trademark “The Hurt Syndicate” two weeks ago, after previously filing for trademarks on other MVP related phrases and names. We can confirm there have been discussions and even so plans to continue a faction similar to The Hurt Business outside WWE. Specifically, we’ve heard that AEW has had discussions with Bobby Lashley, MVP and Shelton Benjamin in recent weeks. However, we’ve not been told that a deal was done or imminent.
As we noted recently, Bobby Lashley’s deal with WWE expired. MVP and Shelton Benjamin are also free agents. We have not heard any involvement with tonight's AEW Tag Team Casino Gauntlet.

I’m a day one guy with AEW and I have no interest in seeing another WWE dude come in and take up television time from young talent that don’t get featured. I hate that I’m starting to feel that way because it annoyed the hell out of me when people would say that kind of crap about “All Ex-WWE Wrestling” There’s only a few people that you *HAVE * to sign if they come available and Lashley is not one of them.

That puts the AEW originals in a corner. However them on their own would be just as great because it opens up secondary storylines

Miro and Lana have, or are, getting getting divorced, you have a new wrinkle you can throw into the story here and push the envelope. Wouldn't be opposed to Hurt Syndicate having a few other people in the faction too, and whenever Bobby fights, its a big deal.
